Here i found my "favorite church" Santa Maria di Trastevere! I will never forget the first time i visited this beautiful church, with its wonderful atmosphere and beautiful, fascinating mosaics. And i always went for a cappucino afterwards, on the other side of the piazza. Just to let all the impressions sink in...

Bente, I'm so pleased you found this post, which I fear I had entirely forgotten about. Yes, they are wonderful, aren't they? And again, there is the homely (domestic) detail of the woman checking the temperature of the water as it is being poured!
