It often seems to me that the world once contained many more seashells than it does now, a fact which makes me sad. Here, then, are three sets of lovely shells as a reminder of riches goneby --

One of my very favorite things to do is walk on a beach and look for shells. Of course, my finds are of the much humbler variety than those shown here. Thanks, Ciara, for sharing more beauty. :):)

Like Nancy, shell searching and collecting is one of my favorite things. I also love to draw and paint shells (not on them). One of my favorite books is a "coffee table" book I gave as a gift to myself. Gorgeous photos of shells! :)
