The Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, located in St. Louis, Missouri, is famous for the mosaics in its interior. You'll be able to see why if you look at these photos of Our Lady's Chapel.

Thank you. This is exactly the reason I keep coming back to Something Beautiful. I never would have dreamed of seeking out a chapel in St. Louis for such breathtaking mosaics. You found it for me! And the photographer's attention to detail lovingly rebuilds the chapel for all of us who cannot view it in person. So there is a story of participation unfolding here--the long-dead and unnamed stonecutters, the photographer, and the blogger: all building a visual hymn of glory for me to share. Thank you!
