Last week was a difficult one for me, quite full of sadness. Today my grief continues, and I search for a footing, a means of finding my way toward the future.
Although it would be inaccurate for me to claim to be religious, I'm nonetheless reminded of these words from St. Paul (Philippians 4:8):
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. That is indeed what we must do: think on the good, the true, the just, the lovely. And so I must redouble my own effort to do so.
Beautiful quote.

I agree with you. And it is comforting to know that there are good and lovely things around us all the time. We just have to take a moment to see them and enjoy them... :)
