Death of Socrates

is Jacques-Louis David's famous painting, which purports to show Socrates in the hours (or minutes) before his death. It was painted in 1787 and hangs in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Exciting stuff

Today was a rather exciting day in that I had some success in using WampServer, WeBuilder, PHP and even a bit of JavaScript! A year ago I had never even heard of the first two, and had only the dimmest notion of the second two. I'm a long way from being able to do much of anything with them, but it was exciting to me to get started and to work through some initial exercises in both PHP and JavaScript.
