Thank you so much, Keara. Just what I need to see today. Good to see a post from you. With a little bit of research on Google, I learned that the Minnesota Institute of Arts opened in 1915 -- a year after my father was born. His family lived within walking distance of the MIA. Now I'm wondering if he visited there while he was growing up!

AM,it's always so good to hear from you. I bet your father did indeed visit the MIA as a child. Such a new venture would have aroused lots of interest in a day when there was no TV and people still did a lot of walking. What a nice connection to the MIA! :-)
